RTU Telecommunications Institute at international conference "FGCT 2012" in London, UK

Researcher of RTU Institute of Telecommunications Aleksejs Udalcovs will present the latest scientific results at International conference „Future Generation Communication Technology 2012” which will take place in London, UK, 12 - 14 of December, 2012.

„Future Generation Communication Technology 2012” conference is designed for teachers, administrators, practitioners, researchers and scientists in the development arenas. It aims to provide discussions and simulations in the communication technology at the broad level and broadcasting technology and related technologies at the micro level. „FGCT 2012” conference is organized by British Computer Society and technically co-sponsored by IEEE UK & RI.

Aleksejs Udalcovs is the second-year doctoral student of RTU doctor programme “Telecommunications and Computer Networks”. At this conference he will present one of the latest research results performed at RTU TI Fiber optic transmission systems (FOTS) scientific laboratory. Presented research is titled as “Evaluation of SPM-Induced Optical Signal Distortions in Ultra-Dense Mixed-WDM System”. Scientific advisors and co-authors of this paper are RTU TI senior researchers: Vjaceslavs Bobrovs, Dr.sc.ing. and Jurgis Porins, Dr.sc.ing.

It's worth mentioning that all presented in this conference papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in SCOPUS database.
