Riga Technical University launches a written auction of intellectual property “Optical sensor interrogation unit with integrated optical time-domain reflectometer functionality”. This technology was developed under the lead of the Institue of Telecommunications.
The object of the auction is the exclusive license for the right to use the intellectual property — Latvian patent application No P-19-70 “Optical sensor interrogation unit with integrated optical time-domain reflectometer functionality”, (patent application publication No 15534A) (hereinafter – the Intellectual Property).
The Intellectual Property has been created within the framework of project No 1.1.1.1/16/A/072 “Passive Fiber Optical Sensors for Energy Efficient Monitoring of the Technical Condition of a Transport Infrastructure” of the operational programme “Growth and Employment” of the specific support goal 1.1.1 “To increase the research and innovation capacity of Latvian scientific institutions and the ability to attract external funding by investing in human resources and infrastructure”, measure 1.1.1.1 “Practical research”.
Starting price of the Auction Object: fixed payments in the total amount of EUR 1500.00 (one thousand five hundred euros and 00 cents) (excluding VAT), and annual payments of 2.5 % (two-point-five percent) from the annual sold production turnover.
The Auction Application shall be submitted in the form of an electronic document, signed with a secure electronic signature by 10:00 (EEST) of 25th October 2021, and sent to e-mail [email protected] until 12:00 (EEST) of the same day.
Time and place for opening Applications: at 13:00 (EEST) of 25th October 2021 online on the MS Teams platform.
